Gena Ivanov

Gena was born in Vladimir, Russia, in 1968. After serving in the Belarus army he went to art school in Bobruisk, Belarus where he graduated in 1991. In 2004 he moved to Norwich, attracted, like generations of artists before him, by the landscape and the light of Norfolk.

Gena likes to blend new methods with traditional and his rich colour palette means his work is always bright and joyful. He paints both on location and at the Upper St Giles Street gallery, where many of his original paintings are on display. He has exhibited in Belarus, Russia and Lithuania, as well as in England.
