Gill Baguley

 Gill Baguley

Gill was brought up in Norfolk and attended the Norwich Art School before studying art at Middlesex University. She has painted as a hobby for most of her life, but in 1998 began working as a painter full time. Her studio is a large conservatory at the back of her house with views overlooking her garden and the fields beyond - a peaceful place to paint.

Influenced by Van Gogh and Picasso, but inspired by Norfolk’s scenery, Gill paints using acrylic, ink and watercolour, mostly onto canvas. Her colourful style and animated, sometimes humorous subjects are establishing a strong reputation amongst Norfolk’s art community. She is a keen supporter of Norfolk Open Studios and has opened her studio for many years.

If you are interested in owning an original piece of work or would like to commission Gill to paint a picture for you please send an email to enquiries@apictureofnorfolk.com.
