Jean Hawke

After obtaining a BA in Art and Design from Leicester College of Art, Jean worked for many years as an interior designer. She is also a qualified teacher and has taught Art for the last 8 years in Adult Education.

She has built up a comprehensive portfolio of work including a selection of well-known Norfolk buildings, as well as landscapes of the broads and farther a field. Jean has explored and enjoys all media, particularly drawing, watercolour pastel and acrylics. She had a studio at home in Aylsham, which she has opened for 3 very successful Norfolk Open Studio exhibitions.She also exhibited at the recent Wild Norfolk Art Exhibition at the Assembly House in Norwich
