John RichterJohn started painting seriously in 1975 and has studied art in Cambridge, Chelsea and at Newcastle School of Art. His studio is a former whelk shed at Wells-next-the-sea, where he has a unique perspective and ever changing view of the harbour and creeks. John can be found here on most days of the week. Using mainly oils and aquarelle, his stylised paintings are of the harbour and its fishermen, with subjects often repeated with differing interpretations.
