Paul Cozens

Paul was born in Norwich in 1965 and still lives in the City. He is self taught and works mainly with acrylic paint on acrylic paper. Working from a studio at home Paul paints as often as he can and produces about 75 pictures a year.

The variation of scenery in Norfolk from the huge beaches and skies to scenes of city life in Norwich, are the things that inspire Paul to paint. He is also a keen photographer, using his own photographs together with field sketches as the basis for his compositions. Paul’s favourite artist is Kurt Jackson, admired for his use of colour and sunlight.
