Norfolk residents can now exchange any old and unwanted pictures and frames for a discount off new ones in a ‘picture and frame amnesty’ which is being offered jointly by online picture retailer apictureofnorfolk.com and The Norwich Framing Centre in Norwich.

“We want to encourage people to look again at the pictures that are hanging on their walls. If they decide that they want a change, we will give them a 20% cash-back voucher on a limited edition fine art print from our range.” says Jonathan Ayres, the co-founder of apictureofnorfolk.com.

The picture and frame amnesty will run from now through to the end of November and all of the unwanted pictures and frames that are collected will be offered to local charities and charity shops so they are re-used where possible. Those that are not wanted will be recycled.

Alternatively take your old or unwanted picture and/or frame along to The Norwich Framing Centre at 50-56 Pitt Street or to Artique at 23 White Lion Street, both in Norwich, where you can claim your 20% discount voucher in person, look at some of the pictures for sale including A Picture of Norfolk’s fine art prints and browse the framing options available.

A third option is to bring your old or unwanted picture and/or frame along to The Forum in Norwich (www.theforumnorwich.co.uk) between 9th and 11th November, where there is an exhibition of fine art prints by apictureofnorfolk.com’s artists. You can choose from the range of prints on offer and order your frame using your discount vouchers.
